Neelakurinji, a tiny blue flower that blooms once in 12 years, is one of the many attractions in the southern state. The tiny flowers have formed a majestic blue carpet Idukki's Shantanpara Shalom hills under Santhanpara Panchayat. The flower blooms between mid-July and October.
